Latin II
1. Please review the
vocabulary from the first 20 lessons of your first-year Jenney
text. There will be a vocab review test on the second day of class.
2. Please complete the
"Latin I Summer Review Packet" for Lessons 16-20.
This will provide an excellent review of the grammar covered
during Latin I. These will be checked for completion on the first day of class.
AP Latin & Latin III/IV
1. Obtain a copy of the Robert Fitzgerald copy of
The Aeneid.
Please make sure you have
carefully at least
the first six books of
The Aeneid
(pp. 1-192). There will be a quiz on the major characters and events in this first half of the epic
on the second day of class.
2. Please review and/or learn all of the words on the
"Pharr's
275" list. These are the 275 most commonly used words in the Aeneid.
There will also a vocabulary test on these words the second week of school.

There is no summer homework for Latin I. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
