  1. Meeting Agenda
    • explained by Consuls
  2. Discussed Refreshing Committees
    • Latin Club’s webmasters will continue in current positions
    • Need to train a replacement webmaster (freshmen and sophomores)
  3. Nomination for State Office
    • Discussion of designing a formal process to select nominees
    • Planned in-class announcements
    • Nominations must be postmarked no later than 8 January 2008
    • Submit interest to consuls by 12 December 2007
  4. Mobilization for Certamen Match (12 December 2007)
    • In-class announcements to all levels of Latin
    • Planned to send out email to Latin Club members
  5. Skit (IJCL)
    • Possibility of entering Latin Club skit in talent show
    • Robin Tholin will lead skit
    • Broadcast to freshmen
    • Tentative plans for skit deadline
  6. Service Learning
    • Gift wrapping at Borders
    • Four people dressed in togas and Santa hats
    • Drivers are available
  7. Certamen Meet
    • Need CPS teacher, money, parents/chaperones
    • Possible CPS teachers discussed
    • Board decided to go ahead with this meet
  8. Fundraising
    • Need a date
    • Possibility of conducting fundraiser outside of school
  9. New Movie for Language Night
    • Matt Brennan and Dashiell Bark-Huss
    • Poster Board needed
    • Footage of freshmen
  10. IJCL Convention
    • Preparations for convention
    • Tryouts for oratories, skit
    • Art, Costume
